Photopea can open layered Fireworks PNGs, it is a bit of a Photoshop clone, so if you're familiar with Photoshop it will be easy to pick up. If it is no longer a product for Adobe, then why can't they just create a Licence Generator and make it part of CC so at the very least they get a years subscription from it! Then we can all go on about our live happily.
Very sad that Adobe isn't interested in helping out. I have a lot of legacy Fireworks files and Fireworks really is the perfect tool for what I do. There is no way to purchase it legally from any source now, sorry. When dollars is all a company cares about it is a very sad world.įireworks ended almost 10 years ago. I would just cancel my Adobe account, but I doubt that Adobe would care - one user Surely Adobe can come to some work around? Perhaps Adobe could give me the source code or make it available for general use - at least something.
